Hi, there, it’s time for another Crazy 4 Challenges card! This week Karen is challenging us to go monochromatic. I’m using some of the soon-to-be-released MFT patterned paper to carry out the challenge. This paper is from Dots & Stripes Sorbet Paper Pack that coordinates with Persimmon card stock and Coral Crush card stock.
I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock card base, then added a panel of the Dots & Stripes Sorbet Paper Pack. Then, on another piece of Sweet Tooth card stock, I stamped the birthday candles from Piece of Cake stamp set. Those ticked off candles just crack me up!!! I stamped them with Black Licorice dye ink and Coral Crush dye ink then popped the panel up on foam mounting tape after tying around some baker’s twine. The sentiment is from the same set, stamped on Black Licorice card stock with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, then popped up on foam as well. I finished off with some enamel dots.
And that's it! Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has for you, including our July Guest Designer, Kelly Booth!
