Hi, everyone, I’m back again with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Challenge & Inspiration Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

Obviously, I can’t get enough of BB Harvest Mouse and BB Harvest Mouse Die-namics! I love this sweet set so much so I pulled it out again for this shaker card. I started with a Primitive Cream card stock base, then cut my frame from Kraft card stock with Inside & Out Stitched Rounded Square STAX Die-namics then stamped it with Burlap Background and Natural dye ink, then started to create my shaker element. The background is Ranger Watercolor paper with a Blu Raspberry dye ink wash, the window is heat resistance acetate, and the shaker components are leaves from PI Thankful Friend with a few seed beads thrown in for mobility.

After it was assembled and adhered to the base, I added a sentiment, cut from Black Licorice card stock with Blueprints 12 Die-namics, stamped with Versamark, and heat embossed with a tan embossing powder. The sweet little mouse was cut from Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 110lb, stamped with Black Licorice hybrid ink and colored with Copic markers. This and the sentiment were popped up on foam mounting tape and it was done!

Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!

  2. I could go through all of your tutorials, but it might be quicker just to ask you if you have a tutorial or something about how you cut out the stamped figures so perfectly from the Die-namics....or maybe you cut out first and then stamp?
