Hi, all, I'm back with this week's MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Daffodil, Razzle Berry, Blu Raspberry, and Tickled Pink. All of the details about the color challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Challenge & Inspiration Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
I thought those colors needed to be balloons—and sequins, hence a shaker card with balloons.
I have a video showing how I construct a shaker card, along with a short segment on obtaining perfect stamping on die cuts using a MISTI. You can view the video HERE or click on the button below.
In addition to the video, here a quick run down. I used a Sweet Tooth card stock base, heat embossed with Distressed Stripes Background for the popped up layer. I used Ranger watercolor paper for the bear and balloons—the bear as colored with Zig Clean Color Brush Markers and the balloons with MFT dye inks in the challenge colors. I’m using Pretty Pink Posh sequins and Black Licorice card stock for the sentiment banner—all images from BB Birthday Bears stamp set and BB Birthday Bears Die-namics. Heat resistant acetate was used for the window dimension was achieved with foam mounting tape.
And there you have it! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!
