Flaps, windows, and pull-out tabs are all inviting ways to encourage your recipients to interact with your creations. Our exclusive collection of Blueprints Die-namics include a variety of interactive design features and this month, our team is ready to inspire you to use them in your own creations.

I’ve always wanted to make one of these pop-up slider cards and this was exactly the push I needed! Blueprints 28 Die-namics was MADE for this technique—no cutting the flap with a paper cutter and maybe slipping—this does it perfectly with one run through your die-cutting machine. There are instructions all over the Internet so I didn’t reinvent the wheel—just search that term and you’ll find a wealth of information on creating one of these.

I cut the front from
Ranger Watercolor Paper on which I did a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors. Then I created a little scene using Birdhouses Die-namics, Mailbox Die-namics for the grass, Blueprints 21 Die-namics cut from Sunshine card stock, and Puffy Clouds Die-namics. All this was popped up on the Sweet Tooth card base with foam mounting tape.

Additionally. I used File Folder Edges Die-namics for the top of the pull-out element and stamped the sentiment with Boss Babe stamp set in Black Licorice dye ink. I thought that sentiment went well with the two little birdies building their nest in the birdhouse :)

An that, as they say, is that. Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!
