Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
I flipped this bad boy on his side for my card today—it was much easier to create a scene and I’m not done with this set from the August Release yet. Halloween Hoo has the most adorable little owls all dressed up for Halloween.
First, I created a night sky background by sponging Broken China, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Inks and, after covering with Ranger Distress Micro Glaze, I spattered white craft paint on top for stars. To create the square element, I cut it out with Stitched Square STAX and heat embossed the sentiment from the set. Once that was done I adhered the background to a Sweet Tooth card stock base and popped the square die cut back in place on foam tape.
The images were stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut with the coordinating Die-namics, colored with Copic markers, and popped up in the scene with foam tape.
And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. Winners are chosen at random, so everyone has a chance!
Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
