Hoo’s Up for a Fun Halloween? One Day Until MFT’s August Release!

Hello and welcome to the last day of
MFT’s August Release Countdown! Release is tomorrow, August 11, at 10am Eastern so set your clocks!! You won’t want to miss all this Halloween fun! Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog to get all the details and to see more inspiration from the MFT Design Team. Today we’re previewing Halloween Hoo Stamp Set, Halloween Hoo Die-namics, Sassy Pants Spooktacular Stamp Set, Ghoulish Greetings Background Stamp, Piece of Cake Die-namics (Previous Free with $60), Star Extraordinaire Stencil, and Creepy Confections Patterned Paper Pad.

I love how this little owl ghost looks like she’s flying across the sky so I decided to make her move IRL! First I created the background with Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Inks, coated it with Ranger Distress Micro Glaze, and then spattered white craft ink for the stars.

Next I cut Stitched Rolling Clouds Die-namics from Sweet Tooth card stock, laid them out, and decided where to place my channel and tree limbs. Once that was done I created the channel, inserted a Slider Element and adhere a strip of clear acetate card stock to move the ghost. I stamped the sentiment from Halloween Hoo stamp set on the bottom layer of clouds and the images with Extreme Black hybrid ink on No Line Coloring card stock and the images were colored with Copic markers.

I did a trial run for placement accuracy and then assembled everything. As you can see, when you pull the Interactive Pull Tab the owl ghost moves from one tree limb to the other!! Cute!!

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for MFT’s August MFT and Friends feature!
