Flourishes' Friday Free For All!


Today I've got another card from Flourishes GORGEOUS new Hello Hyacinth set that was released last night. Makes me just pine for Spring, how about you?


I stamped the large hyacinth in the hyacinth jar on Classic White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copic markers. My layout is very simple but for one thing. You can't really tell it, but to avoid tying my ribbon on top of the image, I punched a hole right below where the button is and just brought the ribbon up through the hole before tying the bow. I finished off with a sentiment from the set and tied a button on the bow.

Paper: Classic White (Flourishes); Orchid Opulence (SU!); Kioshi 6 x 6 pad (Basic Grey)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories/tools: seam binding (Martha Stewart); button (PTI); foam tape (3M); white Pearl cotton (craft store)

    Look at that beautiful purple! It's so striking and crisp against the white. The way you've colored and shaded the image gives it such depth. You've done an amazing job for your first FLLC release, Bar! Looking forward to many more with you!
