MFT July Teaser, Day Five

OMGosh! This has been a fun-filled few days, has it not? We're at the last day of teasers and today we have Who's That Mermaid and Clearly Sentimental About Sympathy (Triple Scoop Set). I have Clearly Sentimental About Sympathy for you, but first:
  • The July Guest Designer Contest winner will be announced at the release party.
  • This is the last day of teasers. Head on over to the MFT blog to see what the rest of the team has come up with for today's teasers. Every day there will be a prize hidden on two of the Design Team's blog posts. Leaving a comment on every designer's blog post will give you the best chance of winning every day :) Today's winners will be announced at the release party.
  • The July Hop and Shop will begin at 10:00pm tonight, with the hop also starting at the MFT Blog.
It's not something we like to talk about but inevitably the time will come when we will need a sympathy card. This set has so many comforting sentiments--I know I will go back to it again and again.

I like to keep sympathy cards fairly simple and understated, and this new Oxford paper by Basic Grey fit just perfectly. Simply layout, using the new Solid Bracket Border and File Tab Die-namics dies. I used the Pretty Posies Die-namics for the flower--all those layers make it look like a camellia, I think--and the leaves were done with the Upsy Daisy Die-namics set. Some matching distressed seam binding finished it off.

And here's the inside, with another sentiment from the set.

Thanks SO much for stopping by today! Hope to see you tonight at the release party and then the Hop and Shop!
