Hi, everyone! It’s time for another Color Throwdown Challenge! I’m hosting this week and I’d love to see you all playing along with my Christmas-inspired colors!
My card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Next I created my “patterned paper” by watercoloring through Small Chevron Stripes stencil with Wild Cherry dye ink, Kraft dye ink, and Berrylicious dye ink on watercolor paper. I trimmed a panel of that and popped it up on foam with a silver glitter paper edge, then added a Winter Wreath Die-namics cut from Kraft card stock and the bow from Red Hot card stock. I added some clear gems and the sentiment, from DC Ornament Banner Builder, stamped on Black Licorice card stock with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. It was popped up on foam and I finished off with some enamel dots.
A sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments was stamped on the inside with Wild Cherry dye ink.
And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD320 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, including our incredibly talented November Guest Designer, Petra Swart!
