Christmas In July - Stamp Simply #147

Well, my challenge teams are making sure I'll have a good start on my Christmas cards--second one this week :) Here's what Sharon says:

July 09 - ssnotime147 - Christmas in July -- It's beginning to look a lot like ... Christmas in July! This week, Deb Neerman challenges us to create a Christmas, Kwanzaa, or Hanukkah card. The more festive, the better! Pop in a holiday CD and break out the snow flake dies, the red and green card stock, and the holiday charms. Get a jump-start on your holiday card-making and play along! Thanks, Deb -- what a GREAT and refreshing challenge in the heat of summer.

This was a super quick and easy card to make--stamped very simply! I wanted to see what the new Framed Greetings set and die would look like with sentiments from another set. So I used one from A Balanced Holiday (temporarily out of stock) by MFT. Patterned paper is Home For the Holidays by Webster's Pages. Other MFT products I used are: Crocheted Ribbon, Summer button collection, Fossil and Jellybean Green cardstock, and Earth Girl felt. It's a very simple design, but I love how that die looks! I tied a bow with red seam binding and punched the holly leaves with a Martha Stewart punch.

So, now it's your turn. Come along and play and take us up on the challenge--we'd love to see what you come up with. If you do, be sure to leave the link to your project on Sharon's blog using Mr. Linky. Please use the keyword ssnotime147 if you upload to a public forum. And don't forget to check out Sharon's fabulous sample and also the great designs from the Stamp Simply team and leave 'em some love! And, please welcome our July Guest Designer:
