Flourished Christmas - FTTC#74
It's time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC74)! Maki Jones is our challenge host this week. Maki is getting us all in gear with a theme challenge. We are celebrating Christmas in July! No explanation necessary for this theme. Just have fun and make something festive! While Flourishes stamps are not required, if you have them, by all means use them! We would love to see what you create.
I decided to make a card I could mass produce in a hurry. And this card was made in a hurry, LOL! I used an image from the Flourished Christmas set, stamped in gold pigment ink on Classic White card stock and heat embossed with gold detail embossing powder. Just some layers of Real Red and White, a couple of lines of scoring along the bottom, and a Christmas ribbon and bow. The focal image panel is popped up on foam tape. It looked a little plain, so I added some red rhinestones to bling it up a bit. I think this would look really great with dark blue and silver embossing, gold and burgundy, any deep, rich color, really. I like the CAS lines and all the white with the pop of color.
Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to go see what my team mates are doing with Christmas in July today! I hope you'll play along with us!
